New Terminal location:
JAXair's previous announcement of using Terminals B and D have been scrapped. JAXair will relocate to Terminal E, utilizing gates E-33 through E-38. This move is related to the new Maintenance Facility (see news below).
New Maintenance Facility:
JAXair has made an agreement with American Airlines to buy the former Delta AirLines Maintenance facility at an undisclosed cost.
New Fleet Type introduction:
JAXair has made an agreement to buy 13 Boeing 717-200's from Boeing Capital Corporation. These aircraft will be delivered over the next few months, with the first aircraft arriving tomorrow at the new Dallas/Ft. Worth Maintenance base, located on the east side of the DFW airport. The Boeing 717 aircraft will offer 2x2 First Class seating.
New Partnership

JAX Virtual Airline Group is proud to present a new partnership with FRF Studios. FRF Studio is an online community serving users of Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2004. They have been providing freeware scenery and other enhancements to the flight simulation world since 2005. Their projects are regularly uploaded to Avsim.net as well as Flightsim.com.
